Seems quite early, since it isn't even due to be delivered until 3-16-12. Even if they choose the longest shipping, since its FedEx, I don't see how it will get here past Wednesday (3-14-12) of next week.
Anyone else get a notification that they are shipping already?

I also hate to say I told you so ... but all the reviews that were published on Thursday (as I posted then) were clearly form people who did have the iPad already, so some people outside of Apple must have had it before Friday's shipping. This included Walt Mossberg, David Pogue, MacWorld, Bloomberg, the Telegraph, USA Today... so the fact that CNET didn't get it until Friday more says something about CNET's status than anything else. :-)

Can anyone tell me how long in total it shud take if my bff ordered it on March 22nd, 2012 ( for me).They gave her an estimated date of 4th April to 12th April, but she will be leaving Georgia on April 11th to come to here toTrinidad for a visit and I am really hoping it will get to her before she leaves. The accessories were delivered to her today but the ipad 3 is still processing. Any help would be appreciated.My first ipad so I sooo excited..

Uh, I ordered on the day of the iPad presentation, March 7, and received my iPad on March 16.
