Unable to See Images in Yahoo! Mail in Safari

Hi all,

Since 2 days ago, I haven't been able to see any images in my e-mail (Yahoo! mobile mail) using the Safari in my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. This happens in both 3G and Wi-Fi mode. I've checked the Safari setting and found out that the Cookies and JavaScript are already enabled. I've even restored my iPad to an earlier backup (in which I'm 100% sure this issue didn't exist).

My friends are able to see the images on their Yahoo! mobile mail using Safari on their iDevices though.

Any idea why? Any advice? Thank you very much!

Happens with the Dolphin browser too, not limited to just Safari.

Well it looks like the 'official' channels are getting us nowhere! I have put out a call for help on Facebook to see if anyone can suggest an alternative approach!

Yahoo has finally escalated this to their engineers so we will see what happens.

Well look at that - just had a Safari update - and all of a sudden I can see images on my iPhone again!!! Will try the iPad when I get home.

I can confirm that it is working on my iPad again. All pictures and graphics in e-mails are showing up properly. Yay! 😀
