To bring this to a conclusion as i've read all your messages coming through on my emails...Apple released a statement of that their number one priority isn't to make money, but it is their customers that they most care about...but in some ways they do have to make some money on the work they have produced, im not siding with any of you, but have stated that an equal comment on either side of this.

If you were lucky enough to get the free upgrade, great, if you didnt then $19.99/£13.99 isnt really going to break the bank is it?

It's not we being up tight, its just that we like to follow the rules of Apple as none of us own a Mac from you we can upgrade it with that redemtion code. On the plus side, Apple will know that we didnt purchase a Mac recently as you have to give them a date time and place on the receipt that the Mac was purchased.

I like all other Mac/Apple customers like to pay my way for their products, never take anything for granted as it will come back and bite you on the ***.
