Got my new iPad yeserday. Compared with my iPad 1 the charging via the 10W charger is really slow. Went to bed with power at 20%, and over 6 hours it only reached 85% charge. Normal? Others seeing the same thing? I suppose the battery capacity increase would be expected to require a longer charge...but really this slow?
hi! i am new to this support community and i have a similar problem. my ipad3 (the version from march 2012) doesn't charge AT ALL after i had the ios7 upgrade. it is very annoying, because i can't use it anymore. i have the original charger (10w) and the original data cable, but nothing. it works only if i try to connect it to my computer for itunes, when it charges up to no more than 2%. does anyone have an idea about how can i fix this? thx!
I would first eliminate the possibility of a bad charger or cable. If you don't have a spare, or a friend with an iPad 3 or lower go to the Apple Store and explain the problem. They'll try to charge you ipad sing a known good charger and cable.
i updated to ios7 today. until then i had no problem in charging my ipad. so the charger and cable are good. thx for the reply, anyway! 🙂
