can't sign in to youtube app on iPhone

Dear Folks

i found a way that you can log in to your youtube on your iphone or ipad

simply go ahead and open any video and then try to add it to an existing playlist by clicking the blue arrow and you should be able to access your account

one more thnig i noticed beside that you will need to work on your youtube favorites and clean the unexisting videos and if you added any videos recently you need to delete them or move them from favorites that may be also causing the problem

this way worked perfect with me

So, I decided to give it another try. Thought I'd try this idea, and lo and behold, when I clicked the icon, it just opened. No idea why.

For me, it finally worked when I signed in on the YouTube app with the full email address I have as my Google / YouTube login, not any other version of my user name. Good luck!

You shall generate application specific password in your google account if you have enabled 2 step authentification.

Login with your google username and that special password and it will work!

Wow, that just makes it even worse. Are you attempting to give out bad advice? You want me to go to my Favorites adn that will solve this problem- nope tried it for the heck of it and it definetly doesnt.

To anyone else- i csnnot sign in on my official Apple YouTube app- what do i do? Have tried advice on this post none of it works!!!

To all: I believe I have found the issue.

You need to go to:

Settings» Safari» Block Cookies»

And chance it to

«Always Allow from Websites I Visit»

Or

«Always Allow»

Go back, close the App, if it's still open. Open it back again. Try logging in. That should take care of the problem.
