1080p Videos Not Syncing to New iPad3

I have a new iPad 3 (64gb 4G) and cannot sync 1080p videos from the latest version of iTunes running on my iMac 27 (Lion).

I purchased the complete Game of Thrones season in 1080p via iTunes and downloaded all episodes to my iMac. I did a final sync on my iPad 1 and did the intitial sync of my iPad 3 (64GB 4G) from the last backup on my iPad 1. There were no issues during the sync. All of my previous purchased conten syncs and plays on my new iPad.

But, when I selected a couple episodes of the Game of Thrones in 1080p and did a Sync, I got a message saying that they could not sync because my computer was not authorized to play them. That I should authorize my computer. My computer WAS authorized. I was able to play any of the 1080p Game of Thrones videos on my computer.

I tied deauthorizing and reauthorizing the iMac. Same message. I tried deauthorizing ALL compters from my account and only reauthorizing my iMac. Same message.

I have only ever had one Apple ID and it was that Apple ID I used to make all of my purchases.

I can download the episodes from iCloud directly to my New iPad, but I would like to be able to sync them.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I tried calling Applecare and they were completely stumped!!!

Nice. I did a mistake when i wrote 1080i or 1080p. This is the field mode like upper first, or in case of 1080p progressive. When i rendered it in Sony Vegas with 1440x1080 the video keep the profile of codec in level 3.1. When you render in 1920x1080 it upscale automatically to level 5.0. I think that this is the problem.

Sorry by my English, its not my native speaker.

You can safely render to 1080p (and you should! 1080i is a real PITA, particularly on the iPad 3 screen) if you, afterwards, change the level to 4.1 (or less). See http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/making-stock-videos-application-play-every-mp4 -files-possible for some apps that quickly do this.

BTW, isn't there a way in Sony Vegas to manually provide the H.264 level before rendering? Most non-entry-level converters / compressors let for this.

BTW2, you WILL want to let Sony know of this bug - after all, 5.0 for 1080p30 is absolutely not necessary. (Not even 4.2.))
