What the heck is a NDSPCShowServer?

Found this on my computer and it gives me a crash notice but when I click ok it won't shut down. Have to reboot. did a search spotlight and don't see it. Any help would be appreciated on how to get rid of it. Last program I downloaded was Angry Birds Space.

I am on an intel iMac with 10.6.8

I realize this is solved on the Mac, but I wanted to post this for iPad users who are suffering from stuttering network access, as it may apply to them as well. NDSPC is not limited to your Mac.

Removing the DirectTv viewing app from your mobile device and restarting should resolve this.

Charter - Spectrum - NDSPCShowServer

I had this same issue but with the Charter cable version. Seems they are the same.

The removal process was the same

user > Library > Internet Plugins > PlayerPlugin.bundle

user > Library > LaunchAgents > com.nds.pcshow.plist

user > Library > LaunchAgents > com.nds.pcshow.uninstall.plist

user > Library > NDSPCShowServer > NDSPCShowServer.bundle

user > Library > NDSPCShowServer > uninstall.command

except that after deleting these files and then killing NDSPCShowServer in Activity Monitor it would simply relaunch. In sampling the process I found it coming from a hidden folder //Users/Library/.nds

To see it in Finder do GO --> Go to folder .nds

After deleting that folder the process would stay dead after killing it.
