I need to download Xcode 4 to work on my Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Where can I download it? I've read from forums that I could get it as a paid member of the iOS Developer Program.

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with Xcode 3.2.6 currently installed. I needed to run an app (Mag+ Reviewer) using iOS Simulator, however it could only work through Xcode 4. Installing Lion and the latest version of Xcode isn't an option. Downloading Xcode 4 for Snow Leopard is nowhere to be found. Except that I've read in a few forums about the subject that the download for Xcode 4 for Snow leopard is available only as a paid member of the iOS Developer Program. True? And where else is it available?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Not true.

....again....it's still there - I just checked - for devs that are in a paid program. I don't get why people ignore this requirement when it's spelled out over and over. If you didn't pay the USD$99 to have a valid Individual Developer Account, you can't find it on Apple's servers.

SL is nearing extinction for dev work. Best advice is to drop it and get current, instead - now... Current environ is 10.8 & 4.4 - do that and don't worry about stepping in some ill advised 'caution'.

Good afternoon KT

I am not only a paid Developer for 99$ through the company I work with but also an Enterprise customer for $299. That's right. 2 paid accounts.

If my information was incorrect in saying that NOW today August 7th i do not see it any longer, after being asked to retrace my clicks and provide the path (because if you look back I was the one who said that it was available still and even displayed a screenshot) well, then it is not beacuse I am "ignoring this requirement when it's spelled out over and over. " Regardless, if the information is incorrect than I appologize.

I do hope it is still available and that when I logged in and clicked in all the places that i always click to get to the path where it exists, that it was just an err, or the site was being updated and so I was led to just a list of other downloads.

AS far as I can see though, unlike when i first posted to say "yes people, yes indeed it still is available, see the screenshot" it is no longer there in the same location.

If it's there for everyone else and not for you...it's there. If you're not seeing it, you have an issue unique to you - simple. To continue to claim it's not there is untrue.

Now...still:
