How can I change the iCloud appleID?

I have changed my appleID for iTunes and it isn't updating on my iCloud. Is there a way to upset it?

When you say "changed" what exactly do you mean? Did you change the primary email address for the AppleID at https://appleid.apple.com/

Or, did you create a new AppleID to use in iTunes?

If you did the former, then you will need to delete the iCloud account on your iOS device and then add it back with the new email address/password.

If you did the former, you cannot do anything other than create a wholly new iCloud account with that new AppleID - you will also need to pick a new @me.com address to use with the new iCloud account.

I've been struggling with this issue for over an hour now. The post below has instructions;

iOS 7: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud

As mentioned above, the first two suggestions don't seem to work. On the third suggestion, it says that you do not need to verify the address to temporarily change it back to the original Apple ID address - but this was not true in my case. When I tried to change the Apple ID back to my old email address (which I no longer have access to) - it asked me to verify it and I couldn't.

So I'm stuck. All of the apps on my iPad OTHER than iCloud are pointing to my updated Apple ID, but I can't seem to find a way to get the AppleID on iCloud changed. Note this all happend when I upgraded to iOS7.1 (from iOS 6.x).

Then you shouldn't need to verify the old address. You should only need to tap edit next to the primary email address associated with your new ID, then change it back to your old email address. If it's asking you to verify the old address, ignore it. Just make the change, then try using the password associated with your new ID to delete the existing account from your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID.

This is documented in Apple's support article under "Change your Apple ID temporarily" here: iOS 7: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud.
