Every 15 minutes a whoosh sound plays from my new iPad

I have a question concerning my new iPad.

Recently I noticed that every 15 minutes a whoosh(y) sound plays from my iPad. It is like windflare moving along the window or something like that. I have search through the settings but have come up (for now) empty handed.

Has anyone else noticed this and if so, does anyone have a possible solution to turn it off?

The woosh sound is either from your email app or from your messaging app. Open them and see what they are sending.

It is obvious that an application is sending / reporting something (when the device is online). Yet, which is the one or what type of a message is being sent, that is not clear at all.
