Does anyone have the answer to fix apple tv losing connection from iTunes home sharing. I have had apple tv since Xmas, as it was a gift. But I'm getting fed up using it, because I have to keep restarting iTunes or apple tv after around 10 mins or so. I cannot understand how apple can sell a product that does not work how it's supposed to. Please can someone help.

I also have connection problems with my ATV3, but never with the iOS devices, only with the iMac. Another very strange issue is that when I have used the ATV with the Mac for a while, video doesn't work properly anymore. For example, the ATV menu stays on top of the image or sometimes there is no video at all, only sound. This product is indeed below what we are used to from Apple, which I don't understand, because it is one of their simplest products.
I have pretty much had it too.. I've built up a media and entertainment room, having the apple tv 3 as the router for any kind of music/videos.. It does get really frustrating when you music plays for a minute, sometimes 10, sometimes without problem. But mostly it fails. I can most of the times reconnect via airplay. Somtimes that doesn't even work, but a restart of the computer is needed.
I've bought movies via the Atv3 and they too keep shutting down. I've upgraded the router, tried everything. But it really comes down to that little black little box.
I also found out that Apple had an exchangeprogram, so I managed to get a new Apt3, but I'm still facing the issues. The new one even had the same serial number that was facing these issues. Nice one apple.
