iTunes match will NOT display playlist (iPhone 4 8gb white at&t)

Go to your playlists on your computer and go into the playlist that won't sync. There are songs with the cloud symbol with a line through it because they are not eligible for iCloud sync.. Remove those songs so that the whole playlist contains eligible songs.

Then your playlist will be available on all devices.

I had a slightly different problem, but the following solution worked. All my playlists showed up on my iphone with iTunes Match, and then one day one of the playlists went missing on my phone. So I went to the missing playlist on my MacBook, and noticed that in the cloud icon column, next to the song title column and song duration colunns, there was a cloud icon with a bar through it, next to two of the songs in my playlist. I clicked on the icon with the bar through it, and a message popped up saying that the song was a duplicate of another song in my cloud. I still don't understand what that means, but it then asked if I wanted to delete the duplicate. I responded yes. It then asked if I wanted to still keep the file, and I responded yes. I did that to each of the two songs that had that cloud with the bar through, and immediately, the playlist showed up on my iphone.
