I tried setting my gmail up using the Exchange method that works on all other iOS devices. It allows you to save the account and gives you check marks however it constantly says connection to server failed. I have deleted and re-added the account and it is the same thing. I deleted and re-added the account on my iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1 with no issues. Has anyone gotten Exchange Gmail working on the New iPad?

Don't even have to go back to settings; if you entered the details in correctly before should now work fine.
Nice one, think it also affected Google's paid for services but we're getting this for free from them (guess they have to licence ActiveSync from MS) so no complaints.
