Can you navigate my website?

http://woodsshop.com/

I'm a PC user myself so I can't check this out. I have a Mac user client using safari who can't seem to navigate around my website. I've been asking my Host and they haven't been able to help.

He has a new apple computer, and he says ..

when I enter your web site...under "creative builders" when I click on "kits", "plans" "japanese" "about us" or "contact us" my computer freezes...in other words, it just see there, waiting for the site to come up and it never does. No drop down windows or anything, its just that your site does not move from one area to the next smoothly. Now this is on my 6 month new apple computer....and as I said, everwhere else I go, no problems.....

Could some of you please go to my site and see if you have problems with my links Etc? No one else has reported this but then, how would I know?

Hope someone can help :-)

If you are using the Terminal command line Traceroute just delete the first line (hop) if you are going to post on here. Don't bother if you are emailing to the email id Joe gave further back in this thread. If you are using the web-based link that Linc suggested there is nothing there that can identify you.

The only real value here is if Joe's customer can somehow work out how to use the web-based tool. I thought it had a really simple interface. See what you think.

BT mate I understand your paranoia :-) matter of fact, how do I Edit/Remove that email address I posted a few posts back?? Don't see an Edit button or any way to contact a Mod.

Well, after I sent those two TRoutes (thanks Chamar!), my Host support said

"The traceoutes look fine and are resolving properly. The page is still up and loading properly as well. The user who was able to access the page, then wasn't later sounds like he was blocked in the firewall temporarily. I would like to check this as well for your trouble and your client, so if you can provide your local IPs by visiting whatismyip.com we could check on that further."

I don't understand, sounds like he's saying everything looks fine when so many are having these issues with my site.

Well, I got this ..

"I checked the server logs and there is nothing out of the ordinary. Your IP address (68.8.161.117) is not being blocked by our server and your website is loading on my computer (Windows XP with Internet Explorer or Firefox) without any issues. Additionally, Richard advised earlier that he was able to browse your website on his Mac in Safari.

As we have been unable to reproduce the issue I'm not sure what is causing connectivity issues for particular users attempting to access your website.

Has your website been programmed and kept up to date so that it complies with all current cross-platform web browser standards?"

Ah ha, could that be it? I doubt my site has been optimized for newer safari. My webmaster suddenly died last year, and he was doing all the programing and coding but we never talked about safari. I Edit my site, create pages and upload images (and do a little coding) but that's all.

Is there a diagnostic website where I can go and check my programing?

OK Folks from all points of the globe, could you try it now and let me know? I'll keep my fingers crossed! Do you have 'refresh' buttons on Macs, before you visit the page?

My Host said he removed some software that was installed back on April 3rd that was meant to speed up HTML pages, this may have contributed to some of your issue or may not. Will need to test again now to determine if this software was part of the problem.

To John Wood,

Sorry for the late reply.

I went back to your website today { 22 - April @ 2 P.M. } and had NO problems loading ALL of the pages from your website.

I went to EVERY page on your website and checked, and they ALL loaded without any problems.

The changes that you / your ISP made to the settings of your website worked.

From BT.
