Receiving email is just not working reliably across all devices ... IOS and OSX.
It has been a disaster all day today.
Constantly asking for password. Unable to connect. Up and down.
I called support, and they said they didn't hear of any problems.
IPad, iPhone OS 3.1.2
apple says its affecting 1% of all users...i'm that 1% and its been going on for 24 hours...i have important email waiting to collect...any clues on how to fix this?...icloud is beyond useless...ever tried acessing your music on an airplane?...i wish i had kept all my devices backed up to hard drives!...
When I got through to the Express Lane earlier this evening, they had indicated that the problem has been occuring for the last 24 hours, starting yesterday afternoon, and are expecting to take another "day or two" to resolve the issue, and engineers are working on it was all the answer I could get out of the rep I had spoken to.
My iCloud email is starting to trickle in, but it did that last night for a little bit before it died again... Keeping my fingers crossed that this is working.

I have a real bad feeling this may have something to do with the sahmoon or some such infrastructure virus the BBC reported today. Earthlink.net email is equally as dead when accessed from iPhone or iPad
