Hey Golder Sword; let me know how you face a situation like this:

I received an email from my boss, asking for 3 files (Two PDF and one XCEL, that i have in my Dropbox)

The email has in copy 8 people, and couple of question that I should answer.

Tipical biz email.

Let me know HOW do you answer this in your iPad? How do you answer the email, with the text, copying to all people and attaching the 3 files?

Just terrible.

@U1PNS, goodreader has dropbox integration, so download your files from dropbox. Once they are in goodreader, click [actions], select your files then click [email]. You can send files "as is" or "flattened" so that anything you did on the file, such as annotate or sign, will be preserved. It will open up an email message with the files attached.

Copy whoever, answer whatever, hit [send]. And you are done! And if you have evernote, you can bcc yourself and have a record that is easily searchable. And can be accessed from any device with internet access.

I have been using goodreader since I got the first generation ipad. Well worth it.

I read your post. You just gotta think a little and you will see the solution. It will just take an extra step where you can't be lazy.

Two ways to do it:

1. Copy your recipients, then do what I suggested, then paste the recipients in the new mail. Plus if it is normal business, I would think you would already have these people plus their emails in your contact list. And you could always add them individually.

2. Do what I suggested, select all to copy the attachments in the email body, then go back to your email and reply after pasting the attachments and answering whatever you gotta do.

I know it works. I made sure on both my ipad and iphone before I posted. But you need to do what you are comfortable and willing to do.

Why not try it by sending something to yourself to see if it actually works or not first?

I agree with u1. I get hundreds of emails a day and feel it is very inconvenient to use either iPad or iPhone for business emails. I have the same problem, email from headquarters cc ing 20 staff some of which I don't know. In my PC I would just hit the reply button and that would take care of to and cc. So it's actually not realistic to insert names one by one Because not all would be in my address book or if they are corporate emails I still would have to remember all of them. Therefore it is crucial to be able to reply to all And directly attach files. Many files I have to share with colleagues are sent by other people and are therefore attached in other emails. I don't send photos in my business emails, I just need to be able to copy files from other emails and then paste them into a 'reply all' email. Hope this makes sense!!

Khchuoi, you are right. It is a nightmare and so anoying when you start to fight against i-don-know-what apple fears.

Mr. Apple, I think you should look for a more creative ways to protect your computer market.

Forbidding and srinking users freedom is the wrong way. As a customer I apreciate the design, usability and the power of the devices, but if you keep this way, many people is gonna keep their iPad in the bathroom, as me, as an simple ebook. Common, please, create a full email application, with file browsing, and so...

Totally agreed with U1 PNS.

Leisure good, Biz bad!!!

I am very disappoint with iOS6, it took such a long time for development and now you can only add "video" in email. It is like wow!!!! that they had created a new Ironman Suit Mark Ten. lolz

By the way, FB integration is trailing behind others.... you cannot "tag" while adding a status update

There isn't a built in feature for this unfortunately. Send feedback to Apple to get this feature added. With that said and like others have suggested there are hundreds of thousands of apps available for these devices and I'm sure many of them offer this feature.

I know this doesn't help with replaying with multiple attachments but I did find a workaround to reply to an email and attach one file in three easy steps. This can be done without using a computer or additional apps.

1. Email yourself the attachment from the App for example Pages.App

2. Open the email and select and copy the attachment from the body of the message

3. Open and replay to the email you want to send to. Paste the attachment into the message.

It sounds like allot but in reality it only takes a minute or two depending on the speed of your email server.

Hope this helps!

I have been a Blackberry user for years and was perfectly satisfied. I primarily use my phone for business. Recently (I work in a small office) our Blackberry server died and I was forced into the Iphone because I was the only person left using a Blackberry. Nice features for personal use, but I do not find Apple technology up to speed with the business community. I should simply be able to hit "reply" in an email and have an option to attach a contact that is ALREADY in my phone! It's there! I shouldn't have to go out of the email, go to contacts, hit "share contact" and create an entirely new email to send it. With all the money Apple spends in product updates and new products, how can they miss the boat on satisfying simple business solutions. I discourage ALL my clients from going to Apple products for the business use.

Hi everyone. I was also frustated with this issue and I was also thinking of selling the ipad.

But i solved it

There is an app called Group Email which is a paid app. you can easily reply to all or even add from your phone book. apart from that you can also attach files even from cloud services such as dropbox and drive.

to tell you the truth, this program is not so user friendly in the begining but once you will get used to it, it will be fine, and at least will solve all your problems. Nowadays, i havent got and more my documents on my computer. everything is on google drive and dropbox. so this app is very good as it will allow you to attach anything.

hope thay i solved your problem..
