Does anyone have a MBP that does NOT have the whine issue?

I'm sure everyone has seen this thread http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=374397&tstart=0 about the 'whine' that appears to be prevelant on the new MacBook Pros. I've been on the fence of ordering one since they've been anounced and was ready to order one this morning until I saw this thread and others like it reporting problems. I'm very sensitive to most electronic hums or 'whines' and fear that if my MacBook has this problem I won't be able to use it at all. I know that only people that have problems normally post on these forums but I'm curious as to how many people have either bought one and had no issues at all with it, or had one with the 'whine' that has since been repaired. Thanks to anyone that responds.

Just received mine this morning. No whine that I can hear, and speakers sound fine too (for laptop speakers). There's a very, very small buzz when using battery power from the screen, but I can't hear it unless it's completely quiet...and to be honest it's the same buzz I hear in other pc laptops when they run on battery power.

I love this thing!

Yes. That is my MBP does no whine. Nor squeal. When the fan kicks in it sounds like a gentle breeze compared to my PowerBook and the heat output from my MBP compared to my PB is negligible.

As I feel I must complain about something, however, I am disappointed that the included remote will not tuck away nicely in the ExpressCard/34 slot.
