problem: download final cut pro x demo

After you start downloading, you're taken to a Thank You page. There's a link on the page if you have problems that directs to this download:

seems to be working with Safari just fine too!

I called yesterday as well. They said it was my provider not them. When I told the guy I tried multiple locations he said that they were aware of a download problem in some locations.

I ended up going to the Apple store in SOHO and trying using one of their computers and it didn't work there either.

It's a link on their own site, how hard can that be to fix.

My colleagues suggests this is a sign that Apple really doesn't care about the professinoal FCP X user running a business.

Regarding the general problem, these dodgy links seem to appear occasionally and it isn't necessarily Apple's fault.

Guess I should have read more of the thread.

That said, their links work for everything else. I'm the only FCP advocate at an Avid house and I'm starting to worry I'm going to have to formally switch back to Avid (which if find archaic).

That previous download is no longer valid since they released a 10.0.5 trial version. What happens when you go to the thank you page (after registering) and click on the link on that page -
