What if I forgot my Apple ID security question answers?

They got back to me with an eMial with reset options for the questions in less than 24hours.

Same problem. Haven't been able to find help ANYWHERE. Going to have to phone up apple now and get this mess sorted out!

How do you change you question and answe?

I just resolved the same issue with my itunes account.I wasn't able to make purchases from my ipod without answering the security questions first. After searching for numerous hours I finally decided to contact Apple Support. The rep wasnt able to help me over the phone and stated there are no contact numbers for this issue. However he did point me in the correct direction.

It turns out you must go to https://appleid.apple.com then go to "Support" then go to "Contact Support" and select iTunes (express lane this is free for itunes) or whatever product you are having issues with and your support category (Account Management then iTunes Store Account Security) Make sure to answer the questions below as well. Once you do that specify your issue.On the next screen choose your "Contact Option". I had better luck with the "Email" option. On that screen make sure your first name, last name and apple id are entered then give a detailed description of the issue then hit send. I sent in my issue at 2:47pm 06/16/2012 and it was resolved / reset by 3:21pm 06/16/2012 pretty fast indeed! After serching for days this is the only way to get the Security Questions reset. Hope this helps.

Im having the same problem with my new iPhone and this is a really anoying, its really bothering me. Apple should do something about this NOW. I know my password so why would i need to answer questions that i dont even know the answer to because I made my account such a long time ago.

Hey i found a way to fix this all you have to do is signin into apple webside (https://appleid.apple.com/signin) and their you will find security menu click it and change your security question and answer

security menu asks you to answer security questions, did not work. very annoying.

At the German version there are two options:

First - reset the password via answering the security questions AND

Second - reset the password via receiving an E-Mail from Apple with a link to reset the password.

Very, very annoying as he knows the answers to the questions but since he changed from iPod to iPad they keep saying his answers are wrong

I am going to dead (maybe not real dead) soon if I don't got my answer back, but I try so many things and I still can't get them back! I being trying to get the answer back for the last 1 hour! Gosh... Someone plzzzzzzz help me!

Same problem here. I would have NEVER used those questions. So how could I possibly know the answer. What's even more frustrating is the fact there is NO reset button or anything. Even those that have solved the problem by calling have still listed what the solution was,.. Has anyone found a solution?

I found my way to: https://expresslane.apple.com/ServiceOptionAction.action, and opted to Talk to Apple Support Now. Gave them my phone number and I received a call from Apple within seconds. The operator helped me reset my security questions and add a rescue e-mail address to my account in case I forget the answers to my security questions. Who can remember the model of my favorite cat's first car, anyway 🙂.
