Can't export or share in Final Cut Pro X

WWhat burner are you using? Have you ever been able to burn with this device?

Yes. All Shares work but burn Blu-Ray disc. It still burns DVDs.

Thanks, I just reimported all the clips in my project from the camera and problem was solved. ➕

Thank you so much ckmyers, It took me almost a whole day strugling with it since I promised the client to get their work on the next day, I was very frustrated. I followed your "trick" and deleted all the clips with a camera symbol on it, then re import them and I was able to share it. All my clips are on external drive using usb 3 as a connection. Hope this will help more people

I´m on a trial version of Final Cut pro X

Trying to export my first project to file - it is one clip only without any fancy transitions

After hitting export to file I get this error message;

I have tried to delete the project and start all over again - same message. I thought maybe my HD getting full - trying to save to external HD - same problem.

I have a MBP 2012- Retina

I sort of like the program, and have watched a lot of tutorials, but now I´m glad I only have a trial version, cause if this is a general problem, i have to opt for something else.

Any suggestions for resolving this ?

FFirst go into FCP General preferences and change the display to show frames rather than timecode. Go the problem frame number and see what's happening there. It sounds as if the clip has some corrupted frames.

Thanks, Identified the frame and cut it out. It worked.......for a while.

Now, on a 9GB export I get this error message;

Any other suggestions, please.

I had to export the project to another location (Desktop).

I thin deleted the "currentversions.fcp" as you said..

Then I right clicked and 'Open With' then chose 'Final Cut pro'

I tried the 'Share Project' again and it worked.

What happens when you try to export?

What version is this?
