iPad keyboard shortcuts

Is there a way of doing key board shortcuts; cut, paste and copy with the iPad inbuilt keyboard without pointing at type and using the slower interface system?

Ref ......Control v control c control x control z etc

iOS 5.1, iPad 3

If you have an app on your iOS device, you SHOULD keep up with the updates. Quite simply, many of them are written poorly and can interfere with other apps, memory-leak-like things (not te correct technical term, but I'm not a programmer, just a guy who works at the fruit themed store). If you don't want to update the app, take it off your device. The updates FREQUENTLY only provide backend fixes that you can't see but make the app more stable and less crappy.

If its on your device, keep it updated. If you do not want to update it, take it off of your device.

Yeah, I ran into the same problem... I used to start all of my TextExpander shortcuts with a ".". When the shortcuts becam availaable in iOS I thought I'd just duplicate them. Didn't work of course until I learned that iOS KB Shortcuts can't start with punctuation. A little annoying, but easily overcome. i use a unicode character to "sign" a lot of things and programming it as a KBS was WAY better than pasting it everytime.

NOW, if only we could convince  to make the OSX and iOS KBSs sync via the cloud the way the iOS ones do now... Or at the very least, allow import/export ability to the KBSs.
