I have this problem where I get an email that has wonderful pictures (html, css, or somthing) on my iphone and ipad they display correctly. On Mail in OSX on my iMac they are just a bunch of text and hyperlinks. A good example of this is the promotional emails from Nik Software. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? Thanks all!

I have just started getting exactly the same problem. It's infuriating as it usually occurs on invoices I need to claim for work expenses. Will call Apple this week and post back here what I find out.
I tried this for a similar issue and it failed to work. My problem is apparently random.
Lufthansa emails randomly display correctly
Amazon, the same, random
Delta flight confirmations, the same, random
Random html messages, the same, random
Is there a better fix for this?
It is rather frustrating. Sometimes I don't care but often the information is critical to me.
