My Macbook Pro's Charger won't charge. The Light's not even glowing.

Almost every time the power goes out and I have my charger plugged in (even if its plugged into a power strip) the charger refuses to work afterward, no amber or green light, nothin'. So I had such little faith that this was going to work but I tried it anyway. AND OMG YOU'RE THE BEST. Still can't believe that worked. I only sat on it for like 5 minutes and it saved me money and a trip to the Apple Store. THANK YOU.

Wow this really did work! I've been having this problem for quite some time now... sat on it for like 20 secs and it just started working again, still can't believe it LOL

i just had this problem. Ive had my laptop for a while now but I was freaking out. I read all of these comments but nothing was working. I looked at the chord and it turned out that there was a tiny hole in it! There was sparks and everything but as soon as I taped it, it started working fine 🙂

Hopefully this helps. Most of the time its probably just too hot but this was really rare and I'd thought I'd share in case anyone else has this problem
