change login background for Mac OS 10.7.4

We thank you for that; however, the appleLinen.png file is only displayed is the  logo and not the login background. There is a better solution and that is to use the loginx application. LoginX can be downloaded at

Yes it's apple logo and who that need ok.. For me is the background pic more imported and it works well with change this file.. Smile

We prefer to change the logo and the background image. I can confirm that the beta version of Loginox does simplify the process.

The original 267.png has 2 layers. As long as you keep the layer structure, you should be fine.

I just used this application for changing the loginwindow image on a 10.7.4 iMac and it worked beautifully. Drag and drop simplicity.
