pre 10.7.4, i shared my ethernet connection over Wi Fi, without issues.
since the update i am having a few problems. anyone else experienced this?
I have tried re setting the settings for internet conection on both my tablet and my imac...
the imac is connected to the intenet fine.
any suggestions?

Interesting that on that form there is no option for 10.7.4 as a choice of OS..

I have the same issue on my iMac. It is definitively a 10.7.4 issue!!! I solved the problem restoring the system to the previous 10.7.3 version. Fortunatelly I had a backup! But I don't trust any upgrade anymore...
I just submitted the support form re this issue. At least now they have an option to select 10.7.4 as the OS. This is very frustrating.
I hope they release a fix for this soon.
I have the same issue. I lost internet sharing after the update to 10.7.4.
I tried PRAM reset, network reset on devices, creating new password etc, but the only solution for me was to return to 10.7.3 by reinstalling from recovery disk (10.7.3 was the version my iMac was shipped with).
I too hope this issue gets resolved soon, so that I can update safely.
I guess the question on everyone's lips is "Has Apple made any progress?" Umma, you have your finger on the pulse. Anything back from your case?
I resolve the same problem with owewrite wi-fi kext from 10.7.3.
Full backup restore from TimeMachine is not nessesary.
Just find and copy IO80211Family.kext to previous destination (don"t forget about unload, rights and kextcache)
ok, so here is an update (and sorry for not being so prompt).
I am due to recieve a call this morning from Apple regarding this issue.
I have recieved the data capture applications, but have not yet installed or recorded anything with them. I assume that this is what the phone call will be about today.
In short there has been no real resolution to the issue, so i guess we will have to wait and see what happens after today. I will post any results that come out of the conversation.
To be honest the only good thing that has arisen after a week of this back and forth, is that Apple Support is calling me, rather than the other way round.
oooo - where did you get the wi-fi kext (what is a kext anyway?!?!?) from 10.7.3?
