2 discs stuck in my imac ?
😟 any idea's, my daughter put 2 discs in my mac os x,
You could try holding the iMac drive slot to the ground then ejecting the disc 😕

Something that just worked for me was taking a strip of KT tape and attaching the fabric side of that to an index card. I then peeled off about an inch of the protective paper to reveal the sticky side of the tape and slid the card into the disc drive making sure to get the card with the tape on top of the discs. KT tape being outrageously sticky only had to get a corner on the top disc and it pulled right out with the card. I then did the same with the other disc and now the drive works fine! Best of luck!

I read where they actually use a vacuum to draw stuck disks out at the service centers. If you can find an attachment that is wide enough it could draw them out.
one was visible before. No longer. There is nothing to pull out or suction out.
This worked perfectly for me once I used two strips insted og one and placed one above the cd´s and one between them, thanks for this advice 🙂
I know this is a super late response but using a very thin piece of plastic and turning my computer off and on while holding down the mouse worked for me.

thanks for this. I managed to get the 2 discs my 3 yo son put inside my imac but unfortunately it spoiled the dvd player.
but at least i get it out.
