I keep a number of notes in my iPhone, but when I connect to itunes on my Mac and sync, about 3/4 of the notes (not all of them!) are duplicated on the phone. If I go in manually and delete the duplicates, the next time I sync, they will be duplicated again, appearing in pairs in the Notes listing. The content of the notes will be the same, as are the creation dates. This is crazy. How can I keep this from happening?

So here's the thing. I can't be delusional because so many of you keep referring to the Info Tab in iTunes and syncing notes with iTunes but what are you talking about. There is no syncing notes with iTunes and no info tab in iTunes. Please offer a 2014 response if you can as I'm also trying to prevent the duplicates issues. I have ONLY iCloud turned on for syncing notes, nothing else but get duplicates a lot. Please advise.

There is no "info" tab in itunes when syncing my iphone 5. Duplicates show on my ios app, not on the os x app.
Every thread I've found on this issue ends with itunes syncing as the solution, but that doesn't apply anymore. We need a new solution.
Apple dropped the ability to sync Notes (and calendars and contacts) in iTunes. That's why you are not seeing it in itunes.
Yeah, I understand that. My point was that there is STILL an issue with duplicated notes, so the iTunes syncing wasn't the final answer to this problem.

Same issue for me with duplicates in contacts. Previous posts refer to info Tab. No info tab. Apple, please help with this and remove irrelevant posts as causes massive amounts of Time Wasting. Thanks, Lisa
Duplicate notes, this has been going on for years. There is no option in iTunes so that is irrelevant. Apple stuff is becoming really buggy...
It's no longer happening with an iPhone 5S and the newest version of Itunes.
I thought we determined it had nothing to do with itunes anymore?
In any case, I've given up and switched to evernote. When I went to manually copy my notes into the new app, notes had accumulated dozens of multiples with dates for each... was very satisfying to delete each of them one by one.
In reply, 1st, this is not a solution. 2nd, how do you know? In other words, where did you learn this and what is your sample size, your personal phone or maybe a friends, so 1 or 2 phones?
