I see too many people following this course of action and it does nothing but add static to the discussion and when it looked like that's what you were advocated, I felt the need to address it before someone took it seriously.

My first reply to this thread was satirical in nature, as you realize now, I wasn't actually advocating such obnoxious behavior. You also seem to be as put off as I am by those who engage in self-indulgent verbosity.

In my view, it's time to re-evaluate the whole point system when it reaches the point where a single member can hijack an entire forum and treat it as his own personal blog, but I guess I'm in the minority here.

Thanks 🙂 but I answered some other questions..one was 4 years old! (i dont often read dates) and another apprently sounded like I was begging. I dont remember which posts those were so I'm just saying it to all.

Don't worry, you have plenty of company. Replying to a comment without reading it carefully is a common practice.
