how do i change apple ID security questions

True. When I tried resetting it, the questions still didn't work

i have a verified rescue email that was setup april 2012, but i still do not see the link that says "send reset security info email to"

This is really freaking stupid, having to know your answers in order to change the questions that you forgot the questions to. Now, I'm locked out of my account...stupid Apple.

What if I do not desire to answer any security questions therefore preventing this problem in the first place? I have a login and a password and that is all I need. You have to ask why the three questions are needed. Well, it is either 1) Apple security is not that good and they need the three questions to add another layer to illegitimate access to your accout, or 2) people need a means to access their own account when they forget their password. The sad thing is in the second case, you have to remember not only a jarbled password (caps, numbers, special characters, etc) but also are required to remember the exact answer to a generic question with many possible answers (1988 Pontiac TransAm, TransAm, 88 TransAm, etc). The syste did not even allow me to answer the questions with the same response. This truly is a crappy way to treat people and a very poor design for security. My recommendation: A) Drop the questions as a requirement altogether....if people want to use them then fine, but allow an opt out, B) IF the questions can not be opted out, then allow the same answers for all of them, C) if the system must stay as it is, then replace the touch screen with a glass plate allowing no input as Apple truly believes the users are that dumb and can not remember a simple login and password, D) improve security measures for the APPLE store so we are not burdoned with inputting and remembering all this stupid information....PROTECT OUR PASSWORD INFORMATION. OBTW, who the heck remembers the first name of their fifh grade teachers? Couldn't think of better questions that that? How about the name of the first person I had sex with? THAT I remember!

the password has nothing to do with the security Qs and always resets for me too but the security Q reset link has a misspelled email for my email and instead of aol.com it says sol.com
