how do i change apple ID security questions

I experienced this issue this morning when trying to purchase an album fomr iTunes. The security questions halted my download and when I checked my paypal I was still charged.

Where is the security in this?

I think everyone has that question! I have like a lot of money in my account and don't know how to use it!!!!!

Yes I did the same and they did not ask me the serial # of my device. I answered at least one of the security questions correctly and the rest was easy. I was infornt of my MBA and the security tech took me through the whole process step by step no problem. so call them. it took me less than 10 mins to sort things out.

I keep trying but dont know my security questions. i just need to know how to change them?

I dont even know what happened to mine!!! It was working fine but then I had to change my password and then it wouldnt let me buy anything!! And I dont even know my security question answers because I dont even remember putting answers to those questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😠 And I looked for instructions and it said a link will come up to email somebody to change them and it didnt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😠😠😟😕

Try this select iTunes then iTunes Store, account management and then forgotten apple id security questions.

When trying to reset my security questions I have gotten to the point where it asks "forgot answer to security questions?". I then click the link to have Apple send an email with instructions on how to reset the security questions. But I never get the email. How long does Apple wait before they actually send the email?

Has anyone actually gotten the email? What did it say to do?

You're better off doing what kikiblast did. It looks like Apple will no longer allow resetting of the security questions online if you didn't have a rescue email when you answered the ques. originally or by email later on. You have to talk with Apple support. Follow the steps kikiblast did. You need to know your Apple id and have handy the credit card you used to set up the account (they might ask for something else if you set up your account without a cc). Once they verify the info is correct, they will tell you to go to the Apple id page, sign in, go to security ques, then click on temp support pin (bottom left). The support person will ask for that pin and reset ques. Then you need to go back to Apple id page, sign out, sign in , go to security quest page and then you should be able to change them. Make sure you have a rescue email on file before you do this or add one while changing the ques. It takes a few minutes, but it works!

When I go to change my answers the email it gives me to reset is completely wrong and i can't even see it! Helpppp

Oops sorry for forgot a few steps. Here they are:

Open the link

Select iTunes

Select iTunes Store

Select account managment

Select forgotten apple ID security questions

Then push continue

Select one of the calling options

Then follow steps above.

You can call Apple and speak with a T1 ios agent. They can verifiy the account if you have the password and know 1 or your security questions or can provide CC info or the Devicie SN.
