iOS 5.1.1 Software Update - Problems

Further to the below update, I have been unable to
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1521

  1. Open some already downloaded Apps such as Free Music

  2. Having issues opening Safari (Browser) and opening a Google Search, but works intermittently

  3. App store issues, where any app updates freezes and cancels

  4. Connectivity issues, again intermittent.

These issues have been evident since the new Apple 5.1.1 iOS update.

Was wondering if anyone had any Tips to overcome this or whether Apple iOS planned to release another update to fix the items that need fixing on the iPhone 4S.

P.S - Does anyone know the new way of hiding the bookstand as since the prior 5.1 release I am unable to prize the Bookstand in a folder on its own, so again tips and workarounds welcome.

Thankyou in advance

You need to troubleshoot Security Software installed on the computer. That is programs like antivirus, firewalls, some pc maintence programs. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3125 . People with more courage or knowledge can look at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3204 . To advance users; For those that torrent or have activations blocked by "Hosts" file, make sure apple is not blocked. Required domains are listed in ht3204. You can always update on another computer, different network / internet connection or go to the apple store in your area.

I've been having a few problems with my phone ever since this update. Just before I updated it, my headphones (actual iphone headphones too) worked just fine, then I tried using them just after the update and music only comes out of one ear bud now. I thought at first that it was my headphones but checked them with other devices and both ear buds work fine, I then checked all settings that involve sound, they were good. If anyone has ideas I'd really like help. Also, I've been having problems with my phone shutting off randomly and not turning back on for hours, this is getting really irritating, I've only had the update a few days but I"ve had more problems in those few days than I have since I got my phone, 2 years ago .. help please .. 😟

I and my wife have been having nothing but problems with our iphone 4 since we did the update and am hearing nothing about fixing it.These thingsare too expensive to just mess people up that way.Obviously they don't care about their customers,so.....Goodbye apple products, hello competition!!! Steve Jobs would not have allowed that to happen and if it did you can be sure he would have addressed it immediately!! Can't use Skype, can't do this can't do that,,What's the use? Signed ****** off!
