how to block http://mobilewinner.org?

It works!!! It works because now a message with "This site is attempting to open a pop-up window" appears and you can click 'Block' which stops the mobilewinner.org site from appearing.

Thank you!! That has to be the most frustrating pop up I've ever encounterd. No way to stop it, can't back out of it...

I have the same problem on my iphone recently. I have turned the Block pop-ups on and cleared cookies and data, and it still pops up on safari.

Help anyone?

I don't understand -- I closed the safari by double-clicking home bottom, I held the safari app but nothing showed up

Double click on home button, scroll the bar that pops up for the safari icon...see the little red "minus" symbol? Click on it.

Then, go to settings>Safari...scroll down to where it says "block pop-ups" slide it to OFF. Then, instead of the spam pop up a message that says "This site is attempting to open a pop-up window" will appear. Click cancel.

Now, you'll have to do this sometimes again if you turn off your iphone, or safari crashes or some other reasons. HOWEVER all you will have to do is click the home button twice and then click the "minus" button on the safari icon.
