Apps are crashing because of high wired memory usage without reason!

Ok, fixed it with a full restore as a new phone. Thank you SmartSync.

@csabanova, well unfortunately iCloud is not that cool. I lost many information from the phone in the process. Of course I can reinstall all the apps, but old info that I had within other apps backup is now gone for good. Oh well, nothing is perfect.

Did you restore as new because restoring from your backup didn't work?

Yes, my last backup included SmartSync, so when I tried to recover from the iCloud backup, it installed SmartSync again and the problem persisted.

This is a badbug similar to a bedbug: it's does not go away easily.

The problem lies within the way that "smartsync" connects the profiles with your contacts.

My Problem:

After the Sync, ALL my apps kept crashing, 3rd party as well as Apple originals.

I tried the following which did NOT help:

1) Reset iPhone

2) Restore iPhone

3) Installing a new "free" app

4) all other crap

What DID help:

1) Delete smartsync and rate it with 0 stars; then...

2) Sync all your calendars, contacts, bookmarks, notes and so on (no need for photostream or documents) with your iCloud account, then delete your icloud account on your phone with all its data (i.e. your contacts), and finally add your iCloud account again so it basicall resets all your contacts 🙂

This stopped causing all my apps to randomly close or "crash" at random points...

I hope this helps many others who have been struggling for days...

I have the same issue with the apps crashing and battery levels decreasing faster than before but i dont have that smart sync apps. If anything i use Sync.me (is that the same sh..?) but my problems started when i updated to the new ios6!! soon after i i downloadd that os my phone started to crash and i'm going nuts. I'm about to trow it agains the wall.

With all the money Apple has you would think the beta testing would be more thourough and not to be able to come up with a quick fix or simple solution to this is very time consuming specially when speed on these days is a key to communications.

Has anyone heard from Apple directly? Are they even aware of this? do they even care?

Deactivate Facebook from your iphone,, restart it and thats it!

if u want it to install it again ... do it but dont link it with the phone

You think is the FB app? everything was fine although that FB is ***** too but unfortunately we are kinda chained to it if we want to keep in touch with everyone else etc

By deactivating you mean deleting it right. So when i install the app again it should be ok?

Nope. Delete Facebook account from inside iOS integration, Restart the device, Wifi, Drain Issues and other issues would be fixed. No need to delete the Facebook App downloaded from Apple Store.

Go To Settings >>>> Scroll Down To FACEBOOK >>>>> Open >>>>>>> Go to Settings >>>>>>> Delete Facebook >>>>>> Wala Your Done .........

Hey! I've been having the SAME problem since September! I even got a new phone and everything and it's still happens all the time. I don't know how I've put up with this BS for so long. mbeckFL, can you please explain what you did to fix it!!!
