I purchase Apple products because I consider them to be SUPERIOR to their competition. I have never been able to figure out WHY people will pay MORE FOR APPLE and then turn around and want to alter the technology that they have just paid MORE MONEY to acquire?

no the ipad does not have issuses with ios 5

why doesnt apple add ios 6 to ipad 1st gen what the **** apple i mean come on they put ios 5 on 3gs and ios 6 even though it is a laggy peice of crap but not on an ipad that is way supereior come on apple what r u guys thinking

If you have a first gen ipad, the tech just left you behind.

There appears to be something wrong with your keyboard. Capitalization and the full stop key aren't working. Also, you apparently have spell check turned off. You should perhaps get these issues fixed as your post is difficult to read.

I purchased my iPad 1 this past MONDAY, got it on Wednesday.

I knew EXACTLY what I was doing and had my own reasons for doing so. The BUGS have been worked out of iPad 1, I got a 64gb, wifi - 36 for $275 TOTAL including S&H. I was not going to pay THREE TIMES PLUS that for a iPad 3 with potential issues.

I don't care if the technology left me behind, it does EVERYTHING I am interested in doing at this point, when it doesn't, I WILL UPGRADE and again PAY SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN NEW PRICE. : )

Well done... some of us got on board at the start or close to it... some have invested a great deal of funds and time to apple... i do have multible ios devices all on the same account, but i worry that furture update to apps may cause problems... soooooooo, why not take the first gen ipad "off line"... im interested to see what this machine can do if allowed... Just a thought.

I continue to read posters who are complaining and upset about technological advances and their older models not doing this and not doing that, they seem to forget what their devices CAN DO and why they bought them in the first place.
