what is 15" macbook pro retina HDMI max resolution?

will it support 2560x1600 output? (im trying to connect it to 30" display)

and if it does where can i find a proper hdmi to displayport or hdmi to dvi-d cable or adapter that works for sure.

Based on this thread, I thought I could free up a Thunderbolt port on my mid-2014 Retina MBP by connecting my Dell U2713HM with an HDMI cable instead of a DisplayPort cable. Unfortunately, while the computer supports higher resolutions over HDMI, and the Apple HDMI cable I bought is supposedly HDMI 1.4, the display itself is limited to 1080 resolution with HDMI:
