PhotoStream has stopped working on the iPhone

the same thing happened to me but I managed to get it working again, I went to settings>photos>turn off photostream (you have to delete all your photos from photostream so make sure you have them downloaded on your computer before). then turn it back on and it should work now.

try turning photostream off and then on again from settings>photos>photo stream. I had the same problem as you and this seemed to fix it for me.

tried this did not work...any other thoughts?

did you make sure your wifi was turned on? (both your phone and your computer) it seems to work only when my wifi is turned on...

Not sure if you resolved this, but the last time this occured I had to un-install everything apple and then reinstall it, including manually going in and deleting everything apple from the program files. Very strange. It worked, but sigh, months later, I am having the same issue. I am hoping I don't have to do that again, but if all else fails it does work.

I have the same issue, and unlike before, I'm unable to resolve it. My Ipad Photostream works, my macbook works, my iphone stopped. Its all set to on and share, and was working up tunilt the 11/13. Once again, it just stopped working.

Apple - I'm with you becuase of a working ecosystem that is supposed to make my life easier. The fact that this failed again should be a wake up call to get your act together. Your key advantage is no longer valid.

I am having the same problem as you guys are having. Photostream stopped working for me on Nov 12th, thirteen days ago. I've done all the suggestions I've found here and on other forums and nothing is making it work again. I recently (On Nov. 6th) had to restore the phone to factory setting using no backup to fix some other problem. I sure don't want to have to do THAT again, it was a real PITA to get everything set back up the way I wanted it. I've checked settingd on both iphone and ipad. I reset phosotream at icloud.com and tried many things suggested here and at other forums. It just isn't working. So frustrating!

my iPhone photos stopped syncing to my laptop sometime after Fri 11/16/2012

I cannot figure out why the syncing has stopped.

all was working fine for a long while.

I do recall updating iOS6 recently, latest version, not the original release. anyone remember what day that was released to us? any relationship?

Same issue here.

Everything was humming along, and then on 12/13/12, sync'ing from my iPhone just stopped for no apparent reason. haven't been able to get it going since. I am on WiFi most of the time at my home and office and the iPhone is fully charged. No warnings. No error messages. Just dead service. It's no like I am uploading gazads of photos either. In the past year, only about 500 photos total.

C'mon Apple - if you are not going to make this an 'always on' service, at least let us know why with some decent error messages. Disappointed.

i found out that you just need to do a hard reboot. not reset the whole iphone. resetting is not the only option.

press the home button nd then keep holding the power button, till you see the apple icon. then release the buttons. it will reboot and then connect to the wifi. things should go well

Thank you! I pushed the home button, turned off my phone for about a minute and when I turned it back on, my photo stream synced to my PC!

I was having this same issue. I syn'd with iTunes and rebooted my iPhone, nothing worked. The I noticed that I have turned off Wifi and when I turned it back on now my photos are going to Photostream. Is this how it's supposed to work, do we need to have a Wifi connection for for our iPhone photos to go to Photostream? I can't always be connected to Wifi in my area and when I am, it's very slow.

Photostream had been working for me too till it stopped updating on my iphone.

YogX had the answer. Once your battery goes under 20% it stops working. As

soon as I recharged battery all my photos updated on the phone.
