How to turn off VoiceOver?

Do you know how to get the voiceover thing off and take remove it so i can get into my iphone because i can access anything without having the voiceover all on my phone so it is not allowing me to access anything else. Please Help and support my questions.... And i am trying my best to get everything straight and let me back into my cell phone so i can get the voice over all off it. Please help with your assistance with this.I'm trying to get back into it.

i tried all the tricks also i reached voiceover screen but when i slide the voiceover to off position it automatically gets on i dont understand a logical reason for this provision no one who used showed us that there is such a waste provision. other wise i would not have purchased this set

I only saw it because I'm following this thread, since I posted in it 5 years ago. I applaud your desire to be helpful, but it would be much more effective if you find posts that have not been answered, or that have only one or two answers, where you can help the original poster. Also, that's the only way to get points; to have an original poster mark your answer as Helpful or Solved.

Perhaps if "solved' had been visible on the thread, I wouldn't have bothered. I'm not paricularly interested in getting a credit for solving an issue, just trying to be helpful. It was one of many links that came up when my daughters phone was stuck in voice over.

Thank you! I forgot that you had to use three fingers to scroll in voiceover. :-)

Try restoring your iPhone using your Mac or PC, if you are unable to access Accessibility settings directly from your phone.

No Need to Restore at all. If you're going to try to restore the device, might as well configure the universal access in iTunes on the same Summary page screen.
