Complaint regarding Apple Store (Trafford centre) UK

I cannot believe that apple don't have a complaint department. You have got to ask the question 'why?'

My wife attended the apple shop yesterday to purchase a voucher for fathers day. There are no tills anymore and you have to sign in on the iPads etc.. And stay and wait for assistance. Bearing in mind two different members of staff approached her and said there was a 10/15 min wait. (yes that's just to purchase a gift voucher) Now bearing in mind my wife was with our 6 year old child, 28 mins later still no assistance for the 30 second purchase of a voucher she decided to leave the store where a further member of staff approached her and asked was everything ok.

Is this the customer service that you should expect when attending the stores to obtain a gift voucher? 28 minute wait and having to leave without a voucher.. It's an absolute disgrace and I wonder why apple don't have a complaint department!

This is regarding the Trafford Centre Apple Store.

I was there the other day. I had my 2 year old daughter with me. She was asleep in her pushchair so I decided to visit the store. I was stopped at the door and was told I couldn't come in with the pushchair. I saw 10 other people with pushchairs/prams and I asked 'what about them?'

I was given no real answer but 'Busy'

I explained I could easily walk through the store with the pushchair. but was told 'too busy'

I said if you are that busy that I cant walk around the store then the store is over capacity and not safe.

I was told I could leave my daughter in the pushchair outside the store. I flipped my lid, said a few harsh words. I asked for the manager but was told they were too busy to see me.

I was disgusted.

I've been an apple customer for years. Never have I been spoken to or dealt with like this ever from anyone.

A busy store like it was that day was not safe if no room for pushchairs etc. Each display table had approx. 30 - 40 people around and I counted 8 tables I think. add to this approx 40 people looking at the wall displays. lets say 250 people in one shop.

What do you guys think?

worst experience ever!

I went yesterday to the Apple Store because my brand new IPhone 6S plus didn't work ( battery last up to 6 hours and the touch screen doesn't work properly plus some apps close themselves ..)

They told me that they couldn't replace it and that I've to wait for the Genius Bar... I wait 5 hours then someone assists me and told me that my phone was ok I disagree since it is not the first iPhone I have and I was using it as I used the last one. Then the manager came and said the same thing and arguing with me... Lind story short I ended up at 22:30 in the evening just with the manager i. The store and she a said ( I think her name is Karine): oh.. I see the phone doesn't work well, i can't replace it now because is too late so come tomorrow ( I've told her more than 5 times that I was traveling until Friday..) and i replace it... I missed the appointment with the doctor and went to bed very late having a trip the following day.. Now I have to trust her and believe that when I come back she's going to replace it. This is unbelievable, I should have my phone fixed by now.. I'm traveling and this interferes with my work and my daily life.. I hope someone from Apple read that and solve the problem because apple customer service shouldn't be this awful

No one from Apple is reading here. There have been numerous suggestions in this thread on how to properly handle complaints. Did you bother to read the thread? Did you bother to follow any sensible procedures? Or are you just ranting here to people who can't help you and whose interest in your experience is minimal?

It's been a few years since i wrote this post. But what is clear is that Meg St._Clair either works for or is associated to 'APPLE' in some form!

Just had another unpleasant experience with Apple which i will not bore you about BUT guess what......... Apple still has no complaints department??

Meg St Clair can i suggest you mind your own business on this forum and go and comment on something else that someone will find helpful? Just a suggestion.

Yes, I am. I buy their products and I participate in these forums. They have also given me, among other things, a tee shirt (long sleeved, quite nice), a pencil, a key chain, a pen and a notebook.

Apple does have channels for dealing with problems with their retail stores. What hasn't changed since you started this thread is that this forum is not one of those channels. You are doing people a disservice by encouraging them to post here. Nothing can be resolved here.
