So I put in an order for a retina Macbook Pro on June 17 and as we all know the estimated time to ship is 3-4 weeks right now.
For those of you who also ordered online, have you received yours yet? Curious to see if the estimated time to ship is accurate or if they're just managing expectations.

Makes me wonder if I dodged a bullet ordering a 2.3/16/512.. I'm assuming thats an uncommon build..

same here...I received mine yesterday. its a WONDERFUL machine, you will definitely not be disappointed. I got a samsung screen and no issues so far. If you can relate, i played Call of duty modern warfare at full resolution (2880 X 1800) at max settings and there was no lag. ridiculous....

just the Base model (2.3/8/256)...really makes me wonder how other higher end builds perform. once again ridiculous...

GREAT plan Jon, a 13-inch model seems very plausible. But a month is too short a time frame for that to happen i think so I'm a bit skeptical. Who knows? Apple may announce a 13-inch model tomorrow! Lets see what happens 🙂
Going by the past few years, highly doubt it. The 2010 model with the nvidia 320m was actually a capable machine. Might not be a bad idea to wait though. If it does have dedicated graphics, it'll be worth it. If it doesnt, it'll probably shift the demand from the 15 inch models.
