Has anyone tried the RBS Citizens payment plan?

Hi. I was thinking about getting a macbook pro with retina. I saw this new payment plan for it and thought it would be perfect, but I would like some information about it from someone who has done this already before I do it.

Also, would this be an installment loan? I'm not allowed to continually charge this account like a credit card right?

Thanks everyone!

The apple IPhone upgrade program is financed by Citizen One. It is a not what you will expect. Apple employees have no knowledge or clue how the financing works. I asked every question under the sun and read Citizens One fine print. Here is the terms and conditions for the lay man.

  1. My credit was ran 5 times for 5 iphones, I now have 5 accounts (No they cannot be combined.)
  2. Your credit card will be charged for each account monthly (is this really an interest free loan?)
  3. You can only change the payment method after signing up on line and using your checking or saving for them to electronically
    take the money out monthly.
  4. You cannot make extra payments unless you call them and make the full purchase of the loan. This is not an interest free loan. This is a company using your credit card, which charges you interest to secure payment of your loan. If they ran your credit and you are credit worthy, then Citizens One should not direct how you pay. The loan is interest free for them not you, which they will acknowledge when you call them. Know the facts, because Apple will not tell you this (sales persons have no knowledge), and Citizens One is not available to answer your question until you have an account.

For those of you who are planing on buy with citizens bank i recommend that you use apple Barclaycard card. I have been waiting for days for citizens to approve me and they never did i called today and they said the same thing they said the other days " if you do not receive a response buy tonight call in the morning". So i will be canceling my application. I need this mac book before Christmas and if i wait on them it will problem be who knows when before i can get my mac book.
