How long does your iPad 3 Battery last?

Hi there,

Okay so I just got my iPad 3 yesterday after upgrading from an iPad 1 and I was just wondering how long does your iPad 3's battery last on average from a full charge? I have my mail set to manual only and my location services are all turned off. The only thing which is on is that my brightness is on full. It seems as though my iPad 3 doesn't last as long as my iPad 1.

So with all that being said, how long does your iPad 3's battery last?

Other than the brightness setting - I use auto brightness - my new iPad is set up use like yours. I manually fetch mail and don't use location services except when needed - and that is almost never.

I get 10 hours easily out of a full 100 % battery charge, just like I did with the iPad original. My iPad has been turned on all day - I am using it now and have been since 7:15 this morning. It rarely, if ever goes to sleep as long as I am in the office using it - like today - I still have 42% left on the battery,

My iPad 3 is a couple years old and it's currently almost at 17 hours (4%) right now. i keep the brightness relatively low and don’t watch a lot of video, but it's mostly Chrome and Skype and Facebook.

How long does your iPad 3 Battery last?
