Forced Apple ID Security Questions - Choice of 3

When trying to download apps onto my ipod touch, 4th Gen it displays an "Improve Apple ID Security" message and asks me to choose 3 security questions. It only allows me to choose 2 of the questions, and fails to respond when I click the 3rd question. As a result I am unable to download anything from the App Store! 😠 Any assistance gratefully appreciated.

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

I am no longer able to download apps on my iPod Touch 4th generation. Everytime I try to do so, I am asked to create 3 security questions. Instead of offering the opportunity to create any questions, I am asked over and over again for my password. Entering the correct password simply results in another request for the password. This is very frustrating as I would need to download some important apps for my work.

Everytime I try to download an app it asks me to improve apple id security if i press cancel it won't let me download any apps so, it asks for 3 questions and your email and birth year and once I put it all in it says a problem has occured try again later so for the time being I cannot download any apps 😟 I've tryed doing a different email and everything.

I continue to be unable to download any apps. Each time I attempt to, I am prompted to enter security questions but immediately asked for password. Once I enter it, I am again asked for my password in an infinite loop! If I cancel this dialog box, I am unable to download an app. This is very frustrating. Please resolve this issue.

not having the same issue but something similar - I'm entering the correct answers to my security questions but the device (iPod touch) keeps saying that they are not the correct answers. I've tried with 2 different apple ID's. I can't reset the questions for one apple ID because the recovery email address no longer exists and I've emailed Apple Support and they have been unable to help me. I emailed them 3 weeks ago! Very frustrating.

I had this problem - I was entering 3 questions and answers on my iphone and then nothing would happen when I clicked on "done"


When I logged on to Appleid I did not have my date of birth listed. I wasn't going to give it to apple, but thought I'd see whether this was the problem. As soon as I changed my security on appleid (by giving them my DOB) the three security questions and answers were accepted on my phone.


Would be interested to hear if this works for other people.

It 's not going to help you but I also have this same issue - I am sorry I purchased my iPad 3 now. This is pathetic. I have read many threads on topic, tried suggested fixes. Tried to phone support on given number for Australia- did not work. Tried to book a call - did not work. Ready to take this bloody thing back to shop.
