Appstore download buttons not working

Hi Folks,

Since Saturday 23rd June 2012 the iOS Appstore download buttons don't work anymore. 😮

When trying to download an app, after I press the "free" button, the "install" button moves to the side, is rearranged oddly and won't work. I saw where someone suggested just syncing the iPhone with the computer and downloading from there, but I don't consider that as a solution, but only an ugly "patch" to solve a bug that Apple introduced last weekend when they updated the Appstore.

Anyone more suffering these issues? Which device and iOS version are you using? 😕

For you information, many users suffered this kind of problems 6 months ago and after many compaints from us, they fixed it!,... and now Apple did it again 😐

iPhone 3G, iOS 3.1.3, iTunes 10

I having no problems. If your profile info is correct you seem to be on a very old version of iOS, even for a 3G. Maybe upgrading would resolve the issue. You can get to 4.2.1 on a 3G.

Thanks, but I cannot upgrate to iOS4.2.1 because it will ruin my user interface experience. (This is a decision from long time ago of many iPhone 3G users, and off topic for this post 😉)

But AKRBTN, if you are not havoing issues, coul you tell us which device and iOS version are you using as I asked, please?

I have an IP4 running iOS 5.1.1.

Have you tried resetting or restoring the phone?

Yes, I tried yesterday after getting monkey on saturday night 😕.

But not improve. Apple mess up something again 😢. But I hope that they'll fix it as they did 6 months ago 😮.

I have two iPhone 3G on IOS 4.2.1 and they're running fine. So I suggest you update or live with it. There will be no more updates/bug fixes for iPhone 3G.

CKUAN, thanks by your feedback, so it seems that the Appstore last weekend update issues could be on iOS3? 😕

That is a pity, because the Appstore at the end is only a "Web page", so Apple could solve the issue easily. 😐

Leo114, thanks by let us know. As I said we are many users on iOS3, and there are still many applications on the appstore compatible with our iOS3 version. 😉

We are not alone, and I hope that Apple will hear us and fix this issue soon 🙂

Me too having the same issue with iOS 3.1.3. Seems the problem is with the older version devices. Restore doesn't sovel the problem.

Please fix the issue. Is someone from Apple listening..?? 😢

Manju_8956, as I said, this same issue happened 6 months ago when Apple made another Appstore update.

Luckily, at that time Apple ended listened us and solved the issue after several weeks remarking it to them 😐

In fact, what i observe is that the button works on the applications in tab 'Selection' and 'Update', but not others (Categoris, top25, search).

However, none of application in 'Selection' is compatible with 3.1.3, LOL 😠

Thanks ramenrichit, it is true, you own an iPhone 2G and you cannot upgrade above iOS3.1.3 😐,...

But you are fully rights to continue using the Appstore! 😉

I also have the same problem... iPhone 2G iOS 3.1.3. Tried several times to restore it and finding answers for 3 days now thinking I did something wrong. Thanks for this post confirming problem with appstore update. I hope they fix it soon!
