I am genuinely offended for Windowz.😉
It looks like it might work on my Macbook Pro - at least the Showcase Player 5 did launch on my Mac anyway. We're really disappointed that the lessons aren't supported on iPad.
My concern regarding the Mac was the reference to Internet Explorer (which hasn't run on the Mac in years).
Download iSwifter for free in the app store..........run your searches from this browser and it even tells you when to switch on flash (there is a button for it on the top of browser page)
Sure works for me anyway !
Thank you so much. We wlll give this a try!

How could you know that? As you've never run Flash on your iPad, you can't really make a comparison. 😉

How can you possibly know how fast your iPad would run with Flash?
Oops...
I'm an echo!

I still have it on my MacBook Pro (Early 2011). However, I won't say that it runs, exactly.
😝
Still in my Dock, but I'm near a'skeered to open it. Once in awhile, I click on it by accident, and quit it as quickly as I can. Just for kicks, I decided to try to get to my old HoTMaiL account through it. I took the screenshot, saved it, and uploaded it here,
and the HoTMaiL login page is still attempting to load. Going to quit it now before my MacBook Pro has a conniption over it.
It took me forever to give up on AppleWorks.
I haven't. It's why I bought the last, best 13-inch MacBook Pro before Lion was released. AppleWorks, and Quicken 2007 and Eric's Ultimate Solitaire.
Just can't give 'em up.
You just brought up Quicken and that's a real sore point with me. Intuit really jammed it to us.
I have Lion so the problem is presumably obvious. Fifteen years of Quicken data down the tubes. The worst part is trying to find a satisfactory substitute. You've got to experiment for six months to decide yea/nay and, if it's "nay" and you change to something else, you lose another six months of data. I'm using iBank right now. It's really crappy but I'm going to stay with it.
Did it work for you Sully ??
