why not back it up to an external usb hd .
Oh, and I didn't want to seem smug up to now, but I've had Macs since 1986, maybe even longer than you, wise sage, when the mac plus came out. I've taken 'em apart to replace parts, I've been able to solve my own software problems 95% of the time, and I've helped friends and family with their mac problems. And I never once insulted anyone's intelligence like you have. Maybe you should look back at your posts and see how it would feel if someone said some of the unhelpful (to put it mildly) things you've said. That's why I came up with the Windoze reference, you act more like one of those irritable people.
OK, so I have to take an extra step and right click it and choose Download to download it from Dropbox, rather than just clicking on my other files once, which download when I click on them. Are you happy now? Why didn't you just say that? Gotta admit, it's been fun!
