We are just users and have no inside apple knowledge.
Where exactly do we send feedback? I'd be happy to send feedback but could not find any official channel to do so.
I also have the RX100, received it on July 24th. It is a phenomenal camera. A real game changer. But back on topic, I purchased an iPad SD Card adapter, shot RAW with the RX100, slipped the card into the iPad reader, downloaded everything like a champ. No issues at all. Video's too!
Please update to support this Camera. I've got Apt 3.4.2 & iPhone 11. Would like to import RAW files in the same was as I can with my Canon D5.
Run software update. RX100 support was added this afternoon.
Thanks for the good news !!
Looks like the Aperture software update covers the Sony RAW, but not the lens distortion correction?
Verified that Aperture does not support the RX-100 lens distortion correction, which is the worst at wide angle. The Sony software does a very good job at correcting the pincussion at the wide angles. In fact, it appers to use "extra sensor" data area that a program such as PTLens does not use. You end up with a cropped version of the original in PTLens and Lightroom.
