how do you play itunes 30 sec clips continously?

how do you play the 30 second clips from an album that you're looking at continuously instead of having to press play every single time the previous clip ended?

I'll try it when I get home.

Making a script to play 30 second clips of a playlist is easy, but only when you already have the files, which is what I think everybody above was actually thinking that you were talking about (since that's what the linked AppleScript above does on iTfM). I don't know any easy way to mess with that behavior of iTunes though, since the tracks are streams and not really on the drive. It's just a link to a stream.

Took me about 30 mins to figure this out using the COM object and javascript. Copy this code and save as a .js file. Run it through Windows Explorer.

Just replace the "test" with your playlist name and you are good to go:

var iTunesApp = WScript.CreateObject("iTunes.Application");
var tracks = iTunesApp.LibrarySource.Playlists.ItemByName("test").Tracks

var numTracks = tracks.Count;
var i;
for (i = 1; i <= numTracks; i++)
{
var currTrack = tracks.Item(i);

currTrack.Play();
WScript.Sleep(1000 * 31);
}
