theer are multiple ways:
1) as everyone has been saying abpout the icloud status in itunes for mac / windows
2) go to www.icloud.com and see the list under each headings
3) on ios go to settings, iclous, storage and backup, then looking up at the space left or you can also going into manage storage nd it gives you another list
for all of these suggestions to work you have to have bought icloud. If you have not bought icloud then it will not work. If you are wanting to see what you have purchased, open up itunes and look in the itunes store. Go to the home page. Scroll down and look on the right side of the page and you will come to a list called Quick Links. Under that list is the word "purchased," Click on that link and it will show you everything you have purchased and even those things you have not downloaded on your computer. One thing more, make sure you are signed into itunes.

Two things: iCloud is free so there is nothing to buy; iTunes Match and iTunes in the Cloud are not dependent on having an iCloud account. In fact you can any one of the services alone. One does not require the other.
Hi Mike, thanks for this, as someone not subscribed to iTunes Match, you've given me the exact information I was looking for. And of course this method of viewing items in iCloud is accessible to everyone.
All the other advice on here is only relevant if someone has signed up to iTunes Match (and paying the 22 bucks)!
There is a charge for iCloud. I don’t know how you got your for free??

When we bought our iPhone 6 we got 5GB free. We have the option to purchase more room in iCloud, 99cents (per month) for 50GB and the rates go up from there.
