Helo, how i can clean my macbook pro from "others file ".. it is consumed more than 25giga from my hard ?!

have you deleted your internal drive itunes and iphoto library?

then check the yellow bar

also, worth noting, check on finder, click your user name, and click command+i

to check which folder has big storage files.

also check "All files" and check command+i on that. somehow iphoto store all faces on "all files" in my previous case.

i just clean 2Gb of others by going to Mail, preferences, check my accounts, under advanced, select dont keep copies on computer. on all my 3 accounts. Mail by default would download all your email history messages + their attachment files.

Clean your Safari or browsers history, plug-ins, etc.

glad i can solve someone problem, i also learn new things.

I had the same problem with a huge amount of 'other' I then emptied my trash and it reduced by a few hundred gig
