I asked yesterday and all I got was smart *** answers from tools...any help Apple? You can't even get copy and paste to work correctly or an iPad that actually charges correctly.
Let's break this down a bit:
What and how have you tried to copy and paste?
Please describe the action you take on your iPad and the application you are using when this occurs so we can try and replicate your problem.
Some applications do not allow copy and paste, for instance, Videos can be copied due to their copyright protections, Safari often does not allow direct copying for similar reasons - these and others are built into the applications. Perhaps you have run into one of them?
Often the option to Paste does not appear until you double tap. Have you seen the "Paste" option and then nothing appears? Were you able to select text or images or shapes and find the "Copy" option?
As far as not charging, have you tried using a differnt cable? Are you sure your charger is a 10W charger? Are you trying to charge through a USB connection to your Mac?

I'm having the same problem. Hope Apple sorts it out. This seems a very basic issue.
The copy and paste on my iphone 5 won't work either. I know how to use it. But then, it just hangs and I need to shut if off for it to work again. :(
Sorry, I'm busting into this conversation. I just recently upgraded 2013 macbook air to sierra. I copied text from a youtube comment i was still composing. I successfully highlighted text, then ctl/clk drop down menu clikcked copy. Went to notes/new note: clicked drop down menu and paste was not highlit. So it copied but does not paste.
